Aspiring Author Tools

This is going to be a super short post, but I wanted to put it out there for those of you that are clicking away on your keyboards as you put the stories running rampant in your mind on a Word document. When you get the point to where you are ready to query agents, do yourself a HUGE favor and pay the $25 annual fee at www.QueryTracker.net. You can run reports based on genre to pull agents. You can also see their response rates over the past 30 days, 90 days, year, etc. It will save you a ton of time.

If you are writing for kids or teens, you can join Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators at https://www.scbwi.org/.

I know I have been fairly quiet lately. I have been sending out a few queries to literary agents, and I started working on the outline for my next novel.
